ChemShi™ NF-100

ChemShi™ NF-100 is an acid mist suppressant, especially used in copper electrodeposition.

It is a fairly stable fluorocarbon, which is directly used in the electrowinning solution. By reducing the surface tension of the electrowinning solution, it suppresses the generation of acid mist, improves the air quality of the electrowinning workshop, provides occupational health protection, and increase the service life of the equipment. It is mainly used in the electrowinning section of copper hydrometallurgy, and can be used with floating plastic pellets. It will not produce large amount of foam on the surface of the electrowinning solution, avoids the loss of acid mist suppressant, and does not have any adverse effects on the solvent extraction and electrowinning process.

It could reduce electro winning tank mist significantly with a low foam level.

Is a special compound of organic fluorine, with special excellent performance of organic fluorine compounds;

It is a kind of special surfactant, which is specially used for eliminating acid mist in electrolysis system;

In the environment of strong acid, inorgic salt, still maintain abnormally excellent performance, and ordinary acid mist suppressant will be poor effect;

No foam layer is formed on the surface of the electrolyte

There is no effect on the whole process of electrolyte metal and no effect on the quality of battery products.

During electro deposition of copper metal in tank house, oxygen bubble rising up from electrolyte solution burst out to be acid aerosol. When add ChemShi™ NF-100 in solution, it changes the bubble burst kinectics, significantly reducing the amount of acid mist expelled in to the air.
